| BiographyPeter Krause is the 2005 PGA National Teacher of the Year and a GOLF Magazine Top 100 Teacher in America. He has been awarded the Minnesota PGA Teacher of the Year six times and named Spalding Top-Flite National Teacher of the Year in 1997. Peter is the 2002 Horton Smith Award winner for the Minnesota Section; an award that goes to the top education leader. He works with both men and women of all skill levels. During the last six years, Peter has worked with a number of Senior PGA Tour professionals. His primary student is Graham Marsh, winner of the 1999 Tradition and the 1997 US Senior Open. Peter is also an accomplished player. In 2004, Peter won the Minnesota Senior Open and was named the Minnesota PGA Senior Player of the Year. He has won the Minnesota Section PGA Match Play Championship and was medalist in the Minnesota PGA CPC Qualifier and US Open Section qualifier. Peter will be able to add this experience to helping you become a better golfer. Peter believes in teaching the student the importance of swinging the club on the proper swing plane. His theory is that when most golfers swing the club, they change the shaft plane and clubface angle leading to a swing full of adjustments and compromises. Peter can show you how to make a swing that does not need to be adjusted or compromised. His mentor is Hank Haney, teacher to Tiger Woods, Mark O'Meara and other top professionals.
